Ward Island Wannabes Annual Fundraiser

This annual fundraiser is put on by Faculty, Students and Staff from TAMUCC and benefits The Purple Door.

It began with a small group of Professors playing music at different venues throughout the year and donating all the accumulated revenue. While this still goes on they decided to get together and push for a larger event to be able to raise more for the cause. Thus this event was born and in their classic style it showcases live music all day.

Each year Lazy Beach creates a unique beer for the event and donates a percentage of the proceeds to the purple door.

Last year over $1000 was raised for the cause.
